Recent Heat Hotel Review: "Stayed at this hotel in October of 2011 in order to attend a wedding for a friend at the Nautical Resort. Chose this hotel due to the cost being more affordable than the Nautical or other surrounding locations. Overall I was very pleased with the hotel. The proximity to the London Bridge Channel and the ability to beach our boat right outside the hotel  made it convenient. Would have enjoyed it better if the hotel had courtesy docks for the guests with boats as there is virtually nowhere to park a truck and trailer however according to the manager docks are being planned for next summer boating season. On check-in I was very impressed with the hospitality of the manager Matthew. My wife and I were each provided one complimentary alcoholic beverages on the first night. One of the downfalls to the hotel when we stayed was the inoperable door to the stairwell down to the beach on the first floor where we stayed. Having to make the short walk around the hotel to the front entrance was a little inconvenient however in the grand scheme of things it was very minor. Having not been to Lake Havasu in over 15 years, I was a little apprehensive on selecting a hotel and was very cautious. Having read others reviews and recieved positive comments from my friends (who are avid Lake Havasu enthusists) I settled on this hotel. Once the docks are installed and available I will definately keep this hotel in my list for my future visits."
